It’s never going to end, is it? Fedor can sign with the UFC tomorrow, wipe out the entire division, and there would be people who criticize him for “ducking” fighters from Dream, Sengoku, K1, StrikeForce, etc. etc. etc. In a recent interview on MMA Junkie Radio, Jerry Millen, M-1 executive, stated that Fedor will fight anyone at anytime, and he’ll do it for free.
If these guys in the UFC truly wanted to fight Fedor, they’d find a way. Come to his training camp. Come to Stary Oskol, and we’ll do three, five-minute rounds in the ring or the cage. We’ll do it for fun. If you really want to fight him for competition, and it’s not about the money for the guys in the UFC, then tell Brock Lesnar to jump his ass on a plane, take a train, and come to Stary Oskol. If these guys really want to fight Fedor, then come to Stary Oskol and lets get it on there for no money. [Emelianenko] loves fighting. He loves the competition of it, and he’ll fight any comers. That’s why when I hear these jerks say, ‘He’s ducking the UFC. He’s afraid of Brock Lesnar’ – Frank Mir’s like, ‘Oh, he’s afraid of us’ – give me a break. That’s the biggest bunch of bull I’ve ever heard. Fedor’s not afraid to fight anybody.
When asked about the contract negotiations with the UFC, Millen responded with this.
It’s got to be a good deal. When you sign with the UFC, most guys sign their soul away. Fedor doesn’t have to sign his soul away, number one, because he’s at the top of the game, and he’s doing very well without signing with the UFC. So he doesn’t have to sell his soul. He’s the kind of guy that won’t sell his soul. If you ever see Fedor (in the UFC), if that ever happens, it’s going to be a very fair deal. The fighters in the UFC are great, but the UFC, to me, is the WWE model. They want to own the guys. They have their own rankings. There’s a lot of fighters out there that are undiscovered that don’t get a chance to fight in the UFC, so they’re not going to get ranked because they’re not going to fight the guy that’s ranked No. 4.
I don’t normally like stuff like this, but I will admit that I’m a big fan of every single thing that Millen said. Dana White constantly criticizes fighters, organizations, managers, and he does it publicly. It’s about time someone tries beating him at his own game.

Oh man if there is one person in the business I dislike strongly, it’s Jerry Millen.
Fedor does not “love fighting” as much as Millen says. On the Countdown to Fedor vs. Rogers show, Fedor himself stated that fighting is not his passion, fighting is his job.
And P.S. Jerry Millen, frosting the tips of your hair went the way of parachute pants.
i agree with every aspect of what millen has said before.. which is odd because much like dana white he usually only spews random garbage no one gives two shits about.
the ufc is no the be all end all of mma, especially when their hw champ has a grand total of 5 fights… since when did frank mir become some epic hw? a win over nog? fedor has two of them. would i like to see fedor smash brock lesnar? of course.. that ranks up there with seeing obama lose his next election. but fedor doesnt need to sacrifice for anyone or prove to anyone he is the best.
i just laugh at dana calling fedor a joke.. he knows who the true #1 hw in the world is… and it doesnt happen to be a guy who used to be a WWE champion.

Dana has the number one FW, LW, WW, MW, and LHW… five outta six ain’t bad.
Fedor should get a shot at Overeem next. Too bad this will never happen because Overeem is ducking him, IMO

If Overeem wasn’t competing in the largest K1 event of the year, then this may make sense, but, he is.
aint bad at all.. and there is no doubt the ufc is the biggest show in town… but to say fedor is ducking anyone is silly
